WELCOME TO THE UC PGSA!End of Month Drinks - Friday 31st 4.30pm
Come along to the End of Month Drinks on the last Friday of every month! This is a great opportunity to keep in touch with your fellow PGs and to relax and unwind!
We know this month is going to be a good one because it's the last day of term as well, so we're starting early at 4.30pm. Meet us downstairs at the Shilling Club for a couple of drinks (alcoholic or not) and some free chips and wedges on us! About the PGSAThe Postgraduate Students' Association is the only UCSA affiliated club run by Postgrads for Postgrads to assist and improve the postgraduate experience at UC. The PGSA provides a voice and social support for all UC postgraduate students; from Honours through to PhD.
The PGSA organises social events to encourage professional and social interaction with a wide variety of interdisciplinary postgraduate members, supervisors, faculty and future employers. It also provides opportunities for peer guidance, support, advocacy, communication and networking. The PGSA supports the Postgraduate Office's academic and professional development seminars and lectures. Social events run by the PGSA include research speed-dating, movie nights, trips away, an annual postgraduate dinner or ball, sports tournaments and quiz-nights, and weekly Friday after-work drinks. Our executive committee comprises a range of domestic and international postgraduates and we have liaisons and advocates for postgraduates across the University, all of whom work hard to raise and maintain the unique status of postgraduates at UC. We are all about improving postgraduate networking & community, postgrad skills and postgrad good times!
